N.Y Tournaments is committed to bring back quality and prestige to the N.Y. Tournament Circuit.  Unfortunately many events have been run very unprofessionally and it tends to tarnish the quality events that are out there.  So far this year Kyoshi Allie ran his L.I. Open Karate Tournament for his 18th year and Sensei Mike Pinelli - for his 7th - the East Coast Summer Open - and Rich Fescina had the N.Y. State Karate Championship and all of these tournaments ran without a snag. They were both on time, organized and professional, plus the judging was of the highest quality.

We received more compliments on the quality of these events then anything.  Parents, Sensei's and Students commented on how organized, clean, and fair the event was run.  People complimented the clean and organized room, the trophy quality, the ease of online registration and day of registration as well as the sponsorship bag and journal.
People loved the new Judges and Center Referee shirts, some parents and instructors said it made knowing who was in charge that much more evident. - No questions, no guessing, no stress.

Read what one mom had to say -

Hi Kyoshi

The open was a fantastic event and all my children had a great time. These types of events teach them skills that a soccer or baseball
game just cant.

Karate is not cheap, but it well worth the investment. The return you get for money invested you just cant get from other sports. I think
most if not all parents would agree with this. However, I think that parents just might not have the extra money to put out for these
events and that's why they choose to go to soccer or baseball. In the younger years soccer and baseball are ran locally but getting into
the older years parents are willing to travel all over. I think the travel excuse is unacceptable......

Well, that is just my opinion. I do not see any other rational explanation of why any parent would choose another sport over ran event like this, especially after investing so much money.

Thank again for an awesome event.
